The annual 5K (3.1 miles) Hunger Walk directly benefits the Food Depository’s network of 650 pantries, soup kitchens and shelters in Cook County. Participation in the event is FREE and each walker will earn $12 in food for the pantry. Bring a friend and wear a green shirt. Meet us at 8 a.m. on the southwest corner before registration. Look for our banner and a bunch of green balloons! (see map below). Bring your completed registration form. To ensure the pantry gets credit for your attendance it must have the following:

Getting to the Hunger Walk
Public Transit: CTA Red, Orange, and Green Line to Roosevelt stop. Walk west and take the Roosevelt and State Bus #146 to Soldier Field/ Field Museum stop. Walk South to Stadium Green, Soldier Field.
Metra Electric District Line (South Suburbs). Exit 18th Drive stop and walk on pedestrian underpass to Soldier Field.
Driving from I‐55: Take I‐55, the Stevenson Expressway, northbound to Lake Shore Drive/Highway 41 North. Take LSD north to the 18th Drive exit.
Driving from I‐90/94: Take I‐90/94, the Dan Ryan Expressway, north to the Lake Shore Drive/22nd street exit. Stay to the right and exit to LSD. Take LSD/Highway 41 north to the 18th Drive exit.

If you opt out of public transportation, please note the parking availability:
FREE: South Lot (18th Drive exit off of Lake Shore Drive). First come, first serve. Once the lot is full, you will be directed to Waldron Deck (parking fee required)
