In the summer of 2012, a year after the release of his debut album ‘Songs of Separation’, Tim Stop teamed with producer Aaron Johnson (the Fray, Colbie Caillat) to record his new single “London”. The recording follows up on the success of Tim’s cover of Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”, which was spun on SiriusXM’s Coffeehouse station all summer long. This winter, “London” will be played on various national radio stations, which will move Tim from local artist to national act.Tim’s talents as a vocalist, guitarist, pianist and songwriter are displayed on his well-received debut album. He’s built on that album in 2012 and has big plans for the rest of the year, including a national tour in October and a new EP to follow shortly after.
The Trick Shooter Social Club is a place tucked just behind the beat.It is a tiny dusty corner of the world where music is timeless instead of soulless. It is a belief in the power of story and the sublime hip sway of a well placed middle eight. It is cat gut, and pick guards, and hand scribbles, and nods across the stage when it’s time to go to the bridge. It is acoustic… and electric… and reverent to its heroes… and of the now.It is a collection of artists, gypsies, showmen, shaman, and curious travelers trying to get it right.
