DeLaSalle handed Gordon it’s first loss of the season, in a shut out. As the team lined up for the traditional handshake at the end of the game it was heard from the side lines “lots more football to come!”. Several members of the team were observed to smile as they entered the handshake line after hearing the comment.
There will be a full season this fall for both Gordon and DeLaSalle are members of the Catholic League and as such they will unaffected by a Chicago public school strike .
