GT Defeats Marine Military in Kleinschmidt’s First Game as Coach

Kleinschmidt talks to Scott Caleron

In his first game after returning to Gordon Tech as head basketball coach, 1991 GT graduate, former DePaul star and NBA player, Tom Kleinschmidt, lead the Rams to a 75 to 45 victory over the Marine Military Academy at the Tom Winiecki Gymnasium Monday evening.

The game was the second of the evening in Gordon Tech’s Second Annual Thanksgiving Tournament. In the first game, Lake View High School dropped Ida Crown, 64 to 40.

The tournament continues tonight with Marine Military taking on Lake View at 5:30 and Gordon Tech against Ida Crown at 7:30.  Wednesday’s games are Ida Crown v. Marine Military at 5:30 and GT v. Lake View at 7:30.
