Tigers 68, Bengals 63
The St. Benedict Bengals lost in a thriller, 68 to 63, to Chicagoland Jewish Academy Thursday evening at the St. Benedict Gym. The Bengals fell behind in the first quarter after missing numerous shots in the paint. They clawed back in the second and third quarters, pulled ahead early in the fourth and looked to be headed to victory. But with some timely three pointers, the Tigers regained the lead, employed a masterful four corners offence and pulled away at the end.
The Bengals face Lake View at home on Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. Chicagoland Jewish Academy faces Gordon Tech at GT’s Tom Wienicki Gym next Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
