Inter-American LSC election

April 17, 2012
By Jill_Wohl
This is a very important LSC election at Inter-American. The newly elected LSC will vote to renew our current principal’s contract, or decide to give the school its sixth principal in ten years.
It is very important that all community members AND parents vote in this election. The school will be open from 6am to 7pm.
Community members (those living between Diversey to south, Foster to the north, Lake Michigan to the east and Western Ave to the west) are also welcome to vote- and will need to present two forms of ID, one with a current address. PLEASE forward this email to friends in this area, and urge them to come to 851 W. Waveland and vote.
While you should feel free to vote for whomever you choose, I personally recommend the following FIVE people:
3 Ana Camino
5 Lisandra “Ms. Lisa” Vazquez
8 Karen Barbour
9 Guillermo Vidaurre
10 Julie Grisalez
Please vote for no more than FIVE people or the ballot will not count. I believe these parents have the vision, skills, dedication and teamwork to maintain stability and move our school forward.
Please remember to vote.
Please see the candidates statements below:
  • Ana Camino (parent)
  • Guillermo Vidaurre (parent)
  • Julie Grisalez (parent)
  • Karen Barbour (parent)
  • Lisandra “Ms. Lisa” Vazquez (parent)
  • Marisol Morales (parent)

  • Ana Camino (progenitor)
  • Guillermo Vidaurre (progenitor)
  • Julie Grisalez (progenitor)
  • Karen Barbour (progenitor)
  • Lisandra “Ms. Lisa” Vazquez (progenitor)
  • Marisol Morales (progenitor)
