Teachers from local schools boarded buses and joined the estimated crowed of 5,000 for a downtown rally as strike speculation grows. Union leaders addressed the crowd inside the Auditorium Theatre then moved to the overflow gathering at Grant Park. After speeches both groups marched to Chicago Public Schools Headquarters where they were joined by other groups including Occupy Chicago.
