Melissa Kline Lagowski of Big Buzz Idea Group was recognized as a leading woman entrepreneur by the National Association of Women Business Owners Chicago. Big Buzz produces many of the leading summer events in the neighborhood including Northcenter’s Rib Fest.
Lagowski told The Bulldog the award stemmed from her work in NAWBO and also from nominations to the Daily Herald’s Business Ledger.
“I couldn’t do the work I do without the support” of my team at Big Buzz, Lagowski told The Bulldog. Lagowski also credited NAWBO who she said supported her efforts.
