Rumors that neighbor and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel won’t be satisfied working on LaSalle Street and living on Hermitage have been swirling around since the former Congressman asked Robert Halpin to vacate his residence.
The Daily Beast claims Emanuel had discussions with potential donors while rounding up money for a planned 2015 run for reelection. The mayor’s press secretary claims the mayor didn’t raise or entertain the subject.
