Cook County Commissioner John Fritchey will speak to GRO at its December meeting. Fritchey has served as commissioner of the 12th District since 2010 and previously was a legislator in the Illinois House of Representatives for 14 years. Fritchey will give his insights into the recently passed county budget as well as the $2 million Violence Prevention, Intervention and Reduction fund that he spearheaded.
