Missing Child Alert

An Amber Alert has been issued for a three year old North Side boy and his fourteen year old Aunt.

The two went missing at about 6:30 PM Thursday near Pulaski and Wilson. Both had just exited a pizza parlor with the girl’s mother. Because the three year old boy was carrying a wagon, he and his Aunt walked on foot will the girl’s mother was supposed to mirror them in the corner.

Everything first went tragically wrong when the girl’s mother was forced to pull ahead because of traffic. After pulling ahead on Wilson, she stopped the car and waited.

The kids never appeared. The three year old, Elijah Williams, is 3-foot-tall, 35 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair. He was pulling a tan and blue wagon and had a Sesame Street blanket with him.

The girl, Maya White, is described as 5-foot-5, weighing 145 pounds.  Maya was wearing an orange shirt, white skirt,  blue jeans, and black gym shoes.

Alderman Debbie Silverstein also released an alert as the child went missing in her ward. Hr offic maild, “If you see someone in our Ward matching this description, please call 911 immediately.

If we are provided with additional information, we will share it with you. Below is a picture of the missing boy.”

Anyone with information can also call 312-746-8365. The family has also offered a $1,000 reward..
