The Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club will celebrate the group’s 80th anniversary with a gala dinner and induction ceremony to a hall of fame to recognize community leaders.
The group has had the philosophy that “everyone plays.” It has supported children in an environment that is encouraging and supportive. It has supervised teens to accept leadership roles.
It teaches teamwork, responsibility, leadership and conflict resolution.
