Osterman pushes limit to private gun sales

The days when you could buy your dad’s .22 may be finished. Illinois State Rep. Harry Osterman, soon to be Ald. Osterman, has proposed a change in the law that would require all transfers of firearms in the State to go through a dealership licensed by the Federal government.
