Checkers shutout the IceHogs on Tuesday, 3-0. Netminder, Justin Peters was a brick wall that the IceHogs just couldn’t get through.
The IceHogs seemed to be just going through the motions during game, with no real effort put into it. Back to incomplete passing seemed to be the theme of the night. With their playoff chances being dashed by last weekend’s back to back losses to the Lake Erie Monsters, the IceHogs seem to have their bags packed and Tee times scheduled already.
Hosting their state line rivals, the Milwaukee Admirals on Friday night and the Checkers again on Saturday night. The regular season ends with the game Satuday night.
