Lincoln Park Plays Bully as Lane Tech Falls

Darien Walls (14 points) made things look easy as Lincoln Park crushed Lane Tech, 60-36 Wednesday night.

Lane Tech was pressured by Lincoln Park all game, who couldn’t find their rhythm until it was way too late. The Indians fell behind early with several turnovers, as the Lions poured on the points, ending the first quarter with a 25-2 lead.

The second half was no different.

John Cook (10 points) and Sadzid Grahic tried to weather the storm, but, the Indians still found themselves behind, 46-21 at the end of three quarters. Matthew Villanueva’s (9 points) three pointers helped Lane Tech win the fourth quarter scoring (15 to 14) but, the big deficit still trumped the Indians. Ramon Ajose added 12 points for the Lions, as they kept the deficit over 20 points as the final buzzer ended, 60-36.
